 Business (Fiscal) Office
The Chemistry Business Office continues to grow as the department increases in size and in research activity. We are now comprised of eight
full-time staff members and a student assistant. We come from diverse backgrounds: banking, private business owner, education, construction
business, real estate, retail, advertising, and auditing.
The staff of the Chemistry Business office is responsible for the daily fiscal operations of the Department. This includes the needs of new faculty,
Contracts and Grants research projects, Graduate Awards and Scholarships, University of Florida Foundation and University of Florida Research
Foundation. We are tasked with helping the Chemistry faculty, staff and researchers in fiscal matters as related to State, Federal, Industrial,
and Private funds.
Our offices are located in 218 Leigh Hall. We welcome visitors and questions, so accept this as our invitation to come in and see us if you are
