| Our research interests span the traditional disciplines of organic and inorganic chemistry. We are interested in the design and construction ligands systems to address a number of problems in biological and inorganic chemistry. In the area of environmental chemistry, we are interested in selectively and efficiently detecting and removing harmful anions and cations from solution. We also work on the development of metal catalysis that mimic the catalytic site in a number of metalloenzymes, and this work focuses on the preparation and study of reactive metalloporphyrins as well as catalysts that contain multiple metal centers. |
